The environmental sustainability commitment of Biotec Pharma and its partners unfolds in all the processes of the production cycle: From R&D to delivery, all the way through production, packaging development and marketing.
A constant goal is to reduce the environmental impact of its endeavours by cutting down on carbon emissions and integrating the use of natural resources. A goal in which our partners must be involved.
We believe that operating, as a responsible company that serves broader economic and societal interests will best create value by enabling us to attract and consolidate relations with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders, while attracting and retaining our employees.
At Biotec Pharma, we work to improve care for patients and deliver value for our stakeholders. Our CSR efforts are based on the requirements of the Canadian Financial Statements Act, and we comply with relevant laws, standards and guidelines for reporting on CSR activities.
Internally, we work with well-being, health, safety and labour practices and diversity across the organisation, as well as organisational development. Externally, we work to create better life for patients and healthcare professionals through collaboration with patients and healthcare organisations.

Ethics
In placing value on people, we see the expression and foundation of our culture and identity. We encourage and support human diversity in all its forms and expression of richness and as the source of long-term development.
Honesty and impartiality determine how Biotec Pharma behaves. The aim is to encourage an open dialogue and always to seek a fair balance of the interests and legitimate expectations of all parties and those affected by our activities.
We recognize that our employees are the basis of our competitiveness and success. We therefore invest on an ongoing basis in the development and further professional training of our employees, both in the operational/technical field and in management, with a focus on increasing the performance of our employees and their contribution to continued improvement.
Furthermore, we treat all employees equally irrespective of their gender, sexual orientation, nationality and place of residence, religion and political views.
For the benefit of developing countries, we donate our excess medicine to hospitals in third world countries through the organisation Global Medical Aid. Currently, the medicine is donated to Afghanistan, Burkina Faso, Nepal and Sri Lanka in collaboration with the ministries of health and/or international organisations.
Most recently, our excess medicine has been donated to the Brothers of Charity in Rwanda.
